Green Fayre 2026
The Green Fayre returns after a successful debut in 2025. Hosted by the Friends
Sunday 7th June from 1pm to 6pm, in the beautiful grounds of St Mary’s Church.
This vibrant community event will be bringing together a diverse range of local volunteer groups from Redbourn and the surrounding area.
The Green Fayre celebrates sustainability, community spirit, and the natural beauty of Redbourn. Our shared mission is to protect and preserve local wildlife and habitats, champion our open spaces, and promote sustainable living. By working together, we aim to create an event that not only entertains but also educates—raising awareness of environmental issues and inspiring collective action for future generations.
We look forward to a fun and engaging afternoon for all ages, including live music, afternoon teas, a BBQ and bar, children’s activities, interactive games, a raffle featuring outdoor experiences and nature-focused prizes, and even a popular dog show – so do bring your four-legged friends along! It promises to be a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and neighbours to come together, enjoy themselves, and learn more about how we can all make a difference.
The Friends are really pleased to have so many fantastic local groups participating in this year’s Green Fayre: Redbourn Parish Council, St Albans and District Beekeepers, Redbourn In Bloom, Wild About Redbourn, Active in Redbourn, Redbourn Allotment Society, River Ver Society, Sustainable St Albans, and Ecochurch St Mary’s Redbourn.
