At over 900 years old, St Mary’s Church is the only Grade 1 listed building in Redbourn
Together with its churchyard, it is a place used and enjoyed by all people, of any faith or none
Maintaining a building and churchyard with such a long heritage comes with a hefty price tag
Our aim is to care for it and enable it to continue to serve the village as a valuable and beautiful asset. By raising funds we hope that the building will continue to provide pleasure and meaning to future generations, building on the work and vision of many people over the past 900 years!
Founded in 1976, the Friends of St Mary's have raised thousands for essential repairs and improvements to the building and churchyard
We work in partnership with the Anglican Church and the wider community to ensure the church can continue to be used by all for those important occasions in our lives
